Rod Seals Single Acting (Rubber fabric)

Available as metric or imperial

A symmetrical profile for use as a single acting rod or piston seal. The seal is a precision moulded Nitrile rubber sealing element with a bonded fabric reinforced base to resist extrusion. Designed with initial radial interference to effect low pressure sealing, at higher pressures the seal is energised increasing the sealing force. Rubberised fabric has the advantage of retaining the sealing media within its surface reducing friction and wear.

Rod seals single acting (grooved rubber fabric)

Available in limited metric and imperial sizes 

A symmetrical profile for Piston or Rod applications. The seal is precision moulded Nitrile rubber with a fabric reinforced base to resist extrusion. Designed with initial radical interference to effect low-pressure sealing, the seal is progressively energised at higher pressures thereby increasing the sealing force. Rubberised fabric has the advantage of retaining the sealing media within its surface reducing friction and wear.

Rod seals Single Acting rod working with an internal anti-extrusion ring

The seal is a precision moulded Nitrile rubber sealing element with a bonded fabric reinforced base to resist extrusion. It has the added benefit of a clip-on POM anti-extrusion ring for larger clearances or higher pressures. Designed with initial radial interference to effect low pressure sealing, at higher pressures the seal is progressively energised increasing the sealing force.

Chevron Seals 

Available in metric and imperial

A single acting rod or piston seal for medium to heavy duty applications. The assembly consists of a male and female header and a series of ‘V’ rings. The number of ‘V’ rings may be varied to alter the assembled height. The material is generally fabric reinforced NBR rubber / intermediate rings are usually NBR with a POM base and header.

Gland Masters 

Available as metric and imperial sizes 

This rod seal is a three-piece assembly consisting of Nitrile Rubber sealing element which is backed up by a tough Thermoplastic elastomer header complete with an Acetal anti-extrusion ring on the ID. The complete assembly forms a highly robust sealing unit for use in high pressure applications where shock loads, and pressure spikes are present.

Single acting rod working poly u-seals

Available in metric and imperial sizes

These seals come in various designs with either a shorter inner lip or a symmetrical profile lip. For medium duty applications designed with a robust inner lip with a secondary supporting sealing edge for high performance sealing. They are also available with an internal anti-extrusion ring and an energised to allow high pressure, increasing the maximum working pressure as well as protecting the seal against pressure spikes. Rod Buffer Seal

The sealing element is manufactured in Polyurethane, with an Acetal anti-extrusion ring. Designed as a high pressure, low friction seal for use in second generation tandem sealing arrangements. This type of seal is used where both low friction and low leakage is required.

Rod working composite seals

Available metric or imperial

Available as a double actor or single actor and rotary applications. These can be supplied in bronze filled, glass filled, polyurethane with either a NBR O-ring or Vition material for high temperature. These seals are designed as a high pressure, low friction rod seal.

Rod Wipers

Available in various forms metric and imperial sizes. 

Either metal cased with a rubber or urethane lip that are a two-step on the width or available as a flat seal no secondary height.

Flexible versions are available as metric or imperial with a two-step height with a flat base or a groove in the base in polyurethane or rubber.
